Identification notes

PCGS auction documentation identifies a dated 2013 silver 0.1 BTC specimen. This supports the issue year despite conflicting 2014 metadata in the collector reference. The maker product specification supports the quarter-ounce weight, 25 mm diameter and 0.1 BTC denomination. Numeric .999 fineness is attributed to the collector catalogue, not an assay or an explicit numeric maker specification. That catalogue’s 2014 metadata conflicts with its own 2013 title and the dated PCGS specimen; its reported mintage and estimated thickness are not adopted here. Funding and grade of the cited specimen are not properties of every coin.
